Meet Dr. Claire Anderson
A Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics and decorated U.S. Army veteran, Dr. Anderson brings extraordinary precision, clinical depth, and genuine compassion to every patient she sees at Hope Endodontics.
From Mississippi to Scottsdale โ A Path Built on Purpose
Dr. Claire Anderson grew up in a small town in Mississippi. Her journey into dentistry began at age 17 after undergoing jaw surgery to correct her smile โ an experience that gave her a firsthand understanding of what patients feel walking into a specialist's office. During high school and college summers, she spent her time cleaning surgical instruments and shadowing her oral surgeon, turning curiosity into calling.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Birmingham-Southern College before moving to Arizona to complete her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health.
Upon graduation, Dr. Anderson joined the U.S. Army, completing a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. She served as a Brigade Dental Surgeon at Fort Stewart, Georgia, and supported Operation Atlantic Resolve in Germany. She later completed her endodontic residency at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, achieving the rank of Major and serving as Officer in Charge and Chief Endodontist at Fort Sill, Oklahoma โ before returning to sunny Arizona.
Today, Dr. Anderson is also adjunct faculty at Midwestern University Dental Institute and volunteers at St. Vincent de Paul Dental Clinic. Outside the office, she enjoys rowing crew, golfing, and traveling to visit friends around the globe.
